Per Sandy Springs Police Reports, Jefferson Kirby of Dahlonega, Georgia, and Myrna Wells of Atlanta, Georgia, were involved in an accident on November 29, 2021, on Pitts Road.
Wells car came to a stop due to traffic. Her vehicle was struck in the rear by Kirby’s car. He was trying to merge from the right-hand lane to left hand lane. Kirby stated he did not realize how close he was to Wells’ vehicle. There were no injuries reported at the scene. Kirby was issued a citation for driving on roadway laned traffic (OCGA 40-6-48).
