On November 30, 2023, Minh Chiavone of Statham, Georgia, and Steven Coleman of Suwanee, Georgia, were involved in an accident on Suwanee Dam Road.
Coleman stated for the record that he was exiting out of the Kroger shopping center and was crossing the highway in an attempt to get into the left hand turn lane. Chiavone told the reporting officer that she was transitioning from the left hand straight lane into the left hand turning lane. She stated that she was looking to her left ensuring that she was being let into the lane by another vehicle and did not see Coleman.
Chiavone's car struck the left corner of Coleman's vehicle. Chiavone was found to be at fault as she was in motion and did not see Coleman to her right.
