Driver Hits Tree After Passing Car with Bright Light Bar (Cobb)

Per Cobb County Police Reports, on August 31, 2022, Maureen Cox of Acworth, Georgia, was involved in a single car accident on Old Stilesboro Road.

Cox told the reporting officer that she believed a vehicle was entering her lane of travel. She described the vehicle as having a bright light bar. It is implied from the report that the bright lights disoriented her and caused her to react swerving off the roadway. She collided with a stone mailbox before coming to a final stop by colliding with a tree.
