On November 16th, 2024, Jasmine Sesay and Antonio Thornton were involved in an automobile accident on SR-138 in Union City.
Sesay stated that she was stopped at the light waiting to turn left onto the I-85 N entry ramp. She stated that she proceeded to complete the turn when Thornton came speeding through the intersection and struck her vehicle. Thornton stated that he was traveling westbound on SR-138 when Sesay turned out in front of him and then stopped, causing their collision. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage from the accident and were towed from the scene.
Sesay was found at fault for the accident and was cited with failure to yield while turning left.
