On August 7th 2024, Amanda Mason and Justin Harris were involved in an accident on Highway 20 N in Rockdale County.
Harris had stopped his vehicle along the side of Highway 20 with his warning flashers on so that he could check his water meter. Mason was traveling north on GA 20 and tried to go around the vehicle, but due to oncoming traffic going south she misjudged the clearance and struck Harris' vehicle. The collision knocked the mirrors off both vehicles. Both vehicles also had other minor damage.
Mason was found at fault for the accident and cited with improper passing.
