Per Cobb County Police Reports, on August 21, 2022, William Brandt and Audrey Neu both of Marietta, Georgia, were involved in an accident at the intersection of Ebeneezer Road and Sandy Plains Road.
According to the report, both Brandt and Neu were stopped at a red light awaiting to turn right onto Sandy Plains Road. Brandt told the officer that he glanced right and thought that the car in front of him had already completed the right-hand turn. However, Neu had not attempted the turn and was struck in the rear.
Brandt was ticketed for improper starting of a parked vehicle.
