According to the Marietta Police Department, Heidi Austin and Evie Cagle both of Marietta, Georgia, were involved in an accident at the intersection of Whitlock Avenue and Kirkpatrick Drive in Marietta.
Cagle was driving north on Kirkpatrick and attempted to turn left onto Whitlock. Austin was traveling west on Whitlock in the far-right hand lane. Austin disregarded the red light and struck Cagle's vehicle.
Austin was cited for disregarding a traffic control device.
