Per City of Canton Police Reports, Jerry Shedd of Canton, Georgia, and Michael Bates of Waleska, Georgia were involved in an accident on April 15, 2022.
Shedd turned left onto Riverstone Parkway from Hospital Drive. At the same time, Bates was in the process of turning left onto Hospital Drive from Riverstone Parkway. Bates appeared to be halfway into the turn when struck by Shedd. Bates advised the reporting officer that he was already across one of the lanes on Riverstone Parkway when he was struck.
Both vehicles sustained damage, but neither driver reported injuries. Neither driver received a citation according to the police report.
