On August 4th, 2021, Officer D Phillips was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Scenic Highway south of New Hope Road.
The accident occurred at 16:19.
Ms. S Terrell was driving a Chevrolet Equinox and Ms. R Walker was driving a Nissan Frontier.
Ms. Walker was stopped in the outside lane in traffic when her vehicle was rear-ended by Ms. Terrell’s vehicle.
Ms. Terrell requested Ms. Walker not to all the police as she had insurance to cover the accident damage.
Ms. Walker refused and stated that she would file a police report.
Ms. Terrell left the scene of the accident without providing any information.
Ms. Walker advised the officer of Ms. Terrell’s vehicle registration plate, which was in accordance with vehicle records.
Ms. Walker also gave a physical description of Ms. Terrell.
Ms. Terrell was contacted by the police, and she admitted to being the driver of the Chevrolet Equinox involved in the accident.
Ms. Terrell was cited in terms of O.C.G.A. 40-5-121 “Driving while licence suspended”.
The weather surface conditions, and light conditions were all good.
The accident was reported in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett County.
